Force capacity building and preparedness, as well as the welfare of Armed Forces members and veterans, are receiving the most focus.
Under the FSS, The Malaysian Army plans to equip all soldiers with Personal Protection Equipment PPE such as , , Oakley goggles and ear protection equipment.
Another interested contenders are Zuzana 2 8×8 SPH, also from Slovakia, Nora B-52 from Serbia, Denel T5-52 from South Africa and SH-15 155mm SPH from China.
Smaller agile and rapid response craft are needed to cover the vast expanse.
